Scares, Snacks & Team Spirit: HEO Students Hit the Movies!

October 16, 2025

Just in time for spooky season, our Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) students took a well-deserved break from training to enjoy a night out at Famous Players SilverCity, where they watched The Conjuring: Last Rites. đź‘»

Everyone agreed it was the perfect way to kick off the Halloween spirit—with a few screams, some good laughs, and plenty of popcorn! These outings are part of the team-building activities and student supports that Chi Mino Ozhitoowin proudly provides to our participants.

We believe that staying engaged and connected outside of the classroom helps strengthen teamwork, boost morale, and create lasting memories throughout the training journey. By offering experiences like this, we aim to build not only skilled operators—but also confident, connected community members who support one another both on and off the job site.

Here’s to more fun, growth, and community spirit as our HEO students continue their training journey with Chi Mino Ozhitoowin!
