The Employment Supports Coordinator is a full-time position that reports to the Indigenous Engagement & Participation Manager. They will work collaboratively within a team environment and perform a key role in developing a strategy for providing employment supports to community members as they prepare for employment. The position will be responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring that the supports are coordinated and delivered with excellence and are culturally appropriate for community members. General responsibilities: • Execute the Pathways to Employment Implementation Strategy including Schedule and Coordinate logistics for Supports (Pre-employment, Land Based Healing and Elders in Residence). • Develop the integrated Program plan (timelines, enrollment, mapping and matching community needs) for delivery of the Employment Supports Program. • Work with Community Liaisons to manage Program needs and details at the community level. • Work with the Indigenous Recruitment and Retention Advisor and the Program Manager of Training to flow Employment Supports Program participants to job specific training. Qualifications: • A post-secondary education in, or similar to, Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Communications. Or, 3 years of experience in a related field. • Knowledge of the economic, social, and political environment of Northwestern Ontario and/or Knowledge of the Manito Aki Inakonigaawin principles is considered an asset. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to communicate verbally in the Indigenous languages spoken in Northwestern Ontario is considered an asset. • Has managed complex projects with multiple stakeholders. • Possess strong collaboration and communication skills. • Valid Class "G" license. Competitive salary (range: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00) will be determined based on education and prior (relevant) work experience; along with benefits, vacation, and other compensations.
