Responsibilities: • Drive safely and in accordance with company guidelines and provincial law • Make local and out-of-town material deliveries • Keep equipment clean • Report any required maintenance or repairs to mechanical staff • Work in a respectful manner with co-workers and project stakeholders Skills & Experience: • Clean driver's abstract • Previous dump truck experience is required • Previous experience operating loaders for self-loading is an asset • Must be able to work in all weather conditions This is a unionized position with pension and benefits.   The Employment Supports Coordinator is a full-time position that reports to the Indigenous Engagement & Participation Manager. They will work collaboratively within a team environment and perform a key role in developing a strategy for providing employment supports to community members as they prepare for employment. The position is responsible for ensuring that supports are coordinated and delivered with excellence and are culturally appropriate for community members. General responsibilities: - Execute the Pathways to Employment Implementation Strategy including scheduling and coordinating logistics for Supports (Pre-employment, Land Based Healing and Elders in Residence). - Develop the integrated Program plan (timelines, enrollment, mapping and matching community needs) for delivery of the Employment Supports Program. - Work with Community Liaisons to manage Program needs and details at the community level. - Work with the Indigenous Recruitment and Retention Advisor and the Program Manager of Training to flow Employment Supports Program participants to job specific training. Qualifications: - Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, or similar; or 3 years of experience in a related field. - Knowledge of the economic, social, and political environment of Northwestern Ontario and/or Knowledge of the Manito Aki Inakonigaawin principles is considered an asset. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to communicate verbally in Indigenous languages spoken in Northwestern Ontario is an asset. - Has managed complex projects with multiple stakeholders. - Strong collaboration and communication skills. - Valid Class "G" license. Competitive salary range: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00, determined based on education and prior relevant work experience, along with benefits, vacation, and other compensations. The role involves frequent travel to Indigenous communities, including remote locations. The company provides industrial yard services including heavy equipment operations, maintenance and general labour across four contracts/operations in Northwestern Ontario. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor, the mechanic will be responsible for providing mechanical services by maintaining and/or repairing all pieces of equipment including but not limited to front-end loaders, dump trucks, tractor trailers, forklifts and log loaders. Duties include scheduling regular maintenance on each piece of equipment, troubleshooting problems and coordinating repairs or replacement of non-working parts. Salary (per hour): - New Apprentice: $31.76 – $32.00 - Apprentice 1 (Complete Basic or Power Automotive Techniques Course): $36.00 – $36.26 - Apprentice 2 (Completed Intermediate): $38.11 – $38.39 - Apprentice 3 (Completed Advanced): $40.23 – $40.53 - Licensed Mechanic: $42.35 – $42.66 Annual increases apply.
